Sony Projector VPL-VW1100ES. This is a VPL-VW1000ES Upgraded to the VPL-VW1100ES. Upgrade was performed by Sony Authorized Service Provider. Thousands of VW1000's were Upgraded the same way, by Sony. Why were they upgraded? The stock VW1000 mainboard doesn't accept a 4K signal input. It's HDMI 1.3, so it only allows a 1080P input, at 24FPS, which it does a fantastic job of upscaling to 4K, but its not a true 4K projector.  The VW1100 mainboard however, is HDMI 2.0, so it does accept a true 4K input. If you look at the screen shots with the menu box displayed, you will see the signal input is 3840 X 2160 60FPS (Frames Per Second). The VW1100 will also upscale ANY 1080P source, so if you have 1080P BluRays, you can view them in 4K
 This was Sony's Flagship 4K Projector, that still rivals many other models. The ARC-F Lens is only offered on this model, the $80,000 VPL-GTZ380, and the $60,000 VPL-VW5000ES, as well as the $25,000 VPL-VW1025ES. It makes a huge difference in image quality. ALL other models including the XW5000, XW6000, and XW7000, use inferior plastic lenses. The XW5000,6000,7000, use a cheap plastic manual lens that leaves a lot to be desired. For pristine image quality across the entire screen, the VPL-VW1100ES features an All-Range Crisp Focus (ARC-F) lens. This large-aperture lens adopts an all-glass design for its 18 elements, including six extra low-dispersion (ELD) elements. This ensures optimal convergence of the red, green and blue primaries even at the extreme edges of the image for a clear and vivid image wherever you look.
We saw a noticable difference in image quality with the projectors that had the expensive all glass ARC-F lens, compared to those that didn't. Sony started out with this lens in their flagship model, and then returned to it, for all their Top of the Line Models. If you buy a projector with a manual focus and manual zoom lens, and your projector is ceiling mounted, you will have to get your ladder out any time you want to change or correct any lens setting. 
Full 3D. The XW5000ES doesn't even offer 3D, and the XW6000 and XW7000, require an additional exterior emitter in order to utilize 3D. The VW1100 has the emitter built in. All you need are 3D glasses. (Not included)
We have owned several Sony lamp based as well as Laser projector models, and the VW1100 is hands down the WINNER for Lamp based, and even beats out several laser models. Remember, you only get UP TO (no guarantee) 20,000 hours laser, then you throw the projector in the trash. With lamp based, you just purchase a new lamp. 20,000 hours is roughly 2.5 years X 24/7. When we purchased our first lamp based projector, we couldnt believe that we put the first 4000 hours on it so fast! Also, once your Laser projector reaches 8000-9000 hours or more, the resell value drops considerably because no one wants only half the total hours, unless it has a giveaway price!
The VPL-VW1100 was priced at $25,000 for the first 6 years it was marketed. ALL the Sony compact lamp based 4K models manufactured after the VW1100, are inferior in brightness and image quality. 

Comes with Factory Remote with FOCUS, ZOOM, and SHIFT controls, and Power Cord. Owner's Manual can be downloaded for free, on the projectorcentral website. 
There are 2 Tamper Stickers on the bottom of the projector that cannot be seen regardless of a table top or ceiling mount. Tamper stickers CANNOT be tampered with, or removed, for ANY reason, otherwise there is NO RETURN FOR ANY REASON. Once you have owned the projector for 31 days AFTER the delivery date, feel free to remove them, if you choose to do so.
